Useful information for newly awarded Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship holders from Jordan
We are pleased to announce that the Board of Trustees of Tempus Public Foundation has made a decision on the distribution of Stipendium Hungaricum scholarships for the academic year 2025/26.
The Tempus Public Foundation individually informs the scholarship holders about the application results and requests to start the visa application process as soon as possible. At the same time, we kindly ask you to take into consideration the following vital steps before applying for a visa:
- Firstly, the applicants are required to accept the scholarship offer in the online application system (DreamApply) which will be followed by the Hungarian host institution issuing a “Letter of Admission” document for the visa application process. Applicants are required to accept the scholarship in the online system within 1 week from receiving the scholarship offer.
- Secondly, applicants with conditional status can also proceed to the acceptance or demission of their scholarship. However, applicants belonging to this category must complete both steps (submit their missing documents as soon as they receive them – even if previously sent to the universities via email - and accept the offer) until the deadline. In certain instances, it is expected that the date of the final exams or the issuance of certificates will be postponed, and graduates will not be able to receive them until the deadline. In this case, the relevant Sending Partner/Ministry shall confirm the situation and send an official ministerial certificate to the Tempus Public Foundation, who will inform the institutions (please note that an email message is not acceptable). The procedure in case the degree and final exam certificates are issued after the submission deadline has previously been communicated by the Tempus Public Foundation. If any changes occur that affect the issuance of certificates, please inform the Foundation.
- Finally, the official “Letter of Award” will be sent via the online system and by email. The “Letter of Award” issued by Tempus Public Foundation is to certify the scholarship status and is also necessary for the visa process. Awardees should wait to receive the Letter of Acceptance and the Letter of Award to start the visa process.
We kindly inform the applicants that the above-mentioned administrative tasks must be finalized by 1 August 2025 at the latest, otherwise the scholarship cannot be awarded.
