On 7 March 2022, Government Decree No. 77 of 2022 (III. 4.) on the termination of certain safety measures against the coronavirus pandemic entered into force, which repealed Government Decree No. 408 of 2020 (VIII. 30.) on travel restrictions during the period of state of epidemiological preparedness.
The main aim of the Scholarship Programme for the Hungarian Diaspora is to give support to foreign students with Hungarian identity to pursue their studies in Hungarian higher education institutions.
After 14 December 2019 all plants for planting (e.g. potted plants, seeds, propagating material), fruits (e.g. apples, hazelnuts) and other plant products (e.g. wreaths, fresh herbs) can only be brought into the EU with a phytosanitary certificate from countries outside the European Union even in your personal luggage! *
From December 1st, 2019 customers applying for short-term visas to enter Hungary have to make appointment with the VFS Global Company’s Visa Application Centre.
