On 7 March 2022, Government Decree No. 77 of 2022 (III. 4.) on the termination of certain safety measures against the coronavirus pandemic entered into force, which repealed Government Decree No. 408 of 2020 (VIII. 30.) on travel restrictions during the period of state of epidemiological preparedness.
The main aim of the Scholarship Programme for the Hungarian Diaspora is to give support to foreign students with Hungarian identity to pursue their studies in Hungarian higher education institutions.
After 14 December 2019 all plants for planting (e.g. potted plants, seeds, propagating material), fruits (e.g. apples, hazelnuts) and other plant products (e.g. wreaths, fresh herbs) can only be brought into the EU with a phytosanitary certificate from countries outside the European Union even in your personal luggage! *

Official Visit by Hungary's Minister or Foreign Affairs and Trade
During his visit to Jordan Minister of State for Education Prof. József Bódis met today H.E. Dr. Walid Maani, Minister of Education and Higher Education and they signed a framework agreement for higher educational exchange. Prof. Bódis also visited the University of Jordan where he was met by its President, Prof. Abdel Karim Al-Qudah.

The 29th European Film Festival was held between 23 November and 2 December, 2017 in the Haya Cultural Center in Amman, where the Hungarian Oscar-winning film „Sing” was also screened in the programme.
